Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This unique stone cottage offers doorstep walks in the Pendle countryside.
The views cover the whole valley to the front and you can see the backbone of Pendle Hill to the rear. The motorway network is only 2 miles away. This opens up day trips to The Lake District, Manchester, The Yorkshire Dales including Haworth, Liverpool and of course a five minute drive to Pendle Hill, watch out for any witches but you will certainly see some black cats.
Straight off the private cobbled drive into the lounge. Off the lounge is a bedroom with a superking sized bed and the kitchen diner with views over the valley. To the rear of the kitchen diner are double doors to a private contained patio area. Upstairs is a triple aspect room with a King sized bed with views across the valley, a twin bedroom and a shower room with a walk in shower the size of a bath.

Oak Tree Cottage offers free driveway parking on the premises. Two parking spaces are allocated however more is available subject to availability - just ask, we always try and accommodate.

The Cottage is great, very well equipped. Comfortable, clean, tv and WiFi great. Beds comfy. Photographs don’t do the kitchen justice, it’s lovely so we had some family over for a curry. The location is beautiful, out in the country side, right by a footpath through the fields. It’s also just 10 mins drive to local town/supermarket. Host was amazing, we were actually snowed in and she messaged the night before to say not to worry about checking out if snow was bad and left us sledges by the back door. I have family nearby so we expect we will book here again.
Great space with amazing views
The stay was great, beautiful place and had literally everything we needed for a family of 4. Beds were comfy, the house was clean, it was spacious, homely and peaceful. The place is saturated in rural Lancashire. Beautiful surroundings and close to the M65. The fence gate pub was a couple minutes, Sparrow Hawk, Forest at Fence and Thatch & Thistle all within 5-7 mins. Perfect.
We had a wonderful stay at Rebecca’s place with our friends - we loved how peaceful it was and there’s a lovely pub nearby! Beautiful views overlooking Pendle Hill. Thank you!
